For international applicants
The university history says that a faculty for work with foreign students was organised in 1993. Today the unit is the Faculty of International Education. The university admits foreign citizens to the General Medicine programme in Russian or in English, on a fee-paying contract basis. Applicants take written tests of 100 points: chemistry and Russian for the Russian-taught programme, and chemistry and English for the English-taught programme. Applicants submit an application, a passport and an education document with a list of subjects and grades. Foreign documents need translation into Russian certified by a notary or consulate, and consular legalisation or an apostille. Applicants to the Russian-taught programme also need a certificate from a medical-biological preparatory faculty, with an exception for citizens of former USSR republics who finished Russian-language schools. After the tests and the signing of the contract, the university sends an invitation to enter Russia.
